Such equations have been derived in dimension at least 2 up to or beyond the k inetic timescale. In this talk\, we address the question of deriving wave kinetic equations in dimension one. Just as with higher dimensional system s\, we may approach the derivation by expanding the solution into iterates \, represented by Feynman diagrams. However\, bounding these diagrams in d imension one proves significantly more difficult than in higher dimensions . Here\, we focus on the derivation of the kinetic equation for the 1D MMT (Majda\, McLaughlin\, and Tabak) system\, deriving it for subcritical tim escales\, and address similar progress for other one-dimensional systems. \n\nLocation: UdeM\, Pavillon André-Aisenstadt\, room 5183\n\nor by Zoom\n \nhttps://umontreal.zoom.us/j/89528730384?pwd=IF10Cg8C0YfogaBlL6F1NboPaQvA aV.1\n\nMeeting ID: 895 2873 0384\n\nPasscode: 077937\n DTSTART:20260320T180000Z DTEND:20260320T190000Z SUMMARY:Katja Vassilev (University of Chicago) URL:/mathstat/channels/event/katja-vassilev-university -chicago-371970 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
