 alk\, I will start by going through the notion of countability and uncount
 ability\, and proceed by constructing the reals via Dedekind cuts (a topic
  which is unfortunately skipped over in most undergraduate analysis course
 s). I will then move on to the Axiom of Choice\, and demonstrate its 'weir
 dness' by using it to solve a few difficult riddles\, which seem impossibl
 e at first glance. All graduate students are invited. As with all talks in
  the graduate student seminar\, this talk will be accessible to all gradua
