 \, to a class of systems of quasi-linear hyperbolic second oder PDE\n	in th
 ree variables\, the geometric study of a single nonlinear hyperbolic PDE i
 n the plane\n	as presented in [AK97]. The constrained variational bi-comple
 x is introduced and used\n	to de ne form-valued conservation laws. A method
  for generating conservation laws\n	from solutions to the adjoint of the li
 nearized system associated to a system of PDEs\n	is given. Finally\, Darbou
 x integrability for a system of three equations is de ned and a\n	method fo
