 enefit local shelters!!Our GOAL is to collect at least 300 pairs!WHAT: new

  Amphitheatre in Strathcona Anatomy Building\, Martin Amphitheatre in McIn
 tyre Medical Building\, Leacock BuildingWHO: All socks will be donated to 
 local shelters such as Welcome Hall Men's Mission\, Our 2nd Home Shelter\,
  Native Women's Shelter\, Chez Doris and more!WHY: Foot care and warmth is
  an important part of their health and hygiene - foot injuries\, infection
 s\, and ailments are the most common reason for hospital ER visits by the 
 homeless. Shelters tell us that there are never enough socks so let's help
  in keeping their feet warm and dry!Note: White socks allow for early dete
 ction of injuries (ex.bleeds\, ulcers)\, especially in those who have diab
 etes and have a decreased sensation (do not feel pain from injuries well)
