The specimen shows two saccular aneurysms of the transverse arch of the aorta, the larger extending superiorly and to the right (long arrows on front and back views). The smaller aneurysm (short arrow) is filled with thrombus (indicated as being "recent" on the descriptive card) and has ruptured into the trachea (arrow and glass rod on back view).
