To observe Orange Shirt Day, the ɬÀï·¬ School of Population and Global Health will host a simulcast of the 4th Annual Orange Shirt Day Lecture for Pediatric Grand Rounds at the Montreal Children's Hospital.

Objectives

  1. Describe the derivation and definition of Jordan’s Principle and its relevance to health care for First Nations children and youth.
  2. Understand the scope, eligibility and legal entitlements related to Jordan’s Principle.
  3. Apply Jordan’s Principle to meet the health, educational and social needs of First Nations children and youth.
  4. Situate Jordan’s Principle within the broader context of structural inequality and suggested remedies including Joyce’s Principle
