 \nSerge Gauthier\, MD\, is a clinical neurologist specializing in the deve
 lopment of new tools for diagnosis and treatments for people living with A
 lzheimer’s disease. He is the Academic Co-Lead for the Dementia Education 
 Program and Professor Emeritus\, Neurology and Psychiatry at ɬÀï·¬ Univer
 sity. Dr. Gauthier was the Director of the ɬÀï·¬ Research Cent
 re for Studies in Aging from 1986 to 1997. His accomplishments led to him 
 being appointed to the Order of Canada in 2014 and the National Order of Q
 uébec in 2017. \n\nDr. Gauthier will describe the stages of dementia and A
 lzheimer’s disease and explain why they are important. \n\nThis webcast is
