DESCRIPTION:Workshop Overview:\n\nThe Hands on Workshop in Micro and Nano B
 ioengineering will be held from Monday\, February 29 to Friday\, March 4 a
 t ɬÀï·¬ Univeristy in Montréal\, Québec. Participants will learn the foun
 dations of micro and nano biotechnologies and gain first hand experience w
 ith clean room microfabrication (photolithography)\, Computer Aided Design
  (CAD)\, 3D printing\, soft lithography\, microfluidics\, microcontact pri
 nting\, immunoassays and more. Last year\, nearly 30 attendies from indust
 ry and all levels of academia joined the workshop!\n\nThe course is open t
 o scientists\, engineers and industry professionals in any area of researc
 h who would like to learn more about micro and nanofabrication and about m
 icro and nanoscience technology in general. The course is of particular in
 terest to biomedical researchers\, chemists\, physicists\, as well as biom
 edical\, mechanical\, chemical\, and materials engineers.\n\nSchedule\n\nT
 he workshop is comprised of 5 modules\, a distinguished keynote speaker\, 
 and brainstorming sessions where you can discuss your current research pro
 blems and gain insight on how micro and nano technologies can help progres
 s your work. Come prepared to discuss your work!\n\nModules 2 and 3 have s
 everal time slots to accommodate your schedule. Participants can build the
 ir own workshop schedule in the registration process. Lunch is provided on
  Monday and Friday. Coffee and snacks will be provided on Monday and Frida
 y mornings and during the brainstorming sessions. We will end the workshop
  with a wine and cheese (and beer)\, don't miss it!\n\nLocation\n\nThe wor
 kshop is located at ɬÀï·¬ in the heart of downtown Montréal\, 
 Québec. Modules 1\, 2 and 4 of the workshop will be held in the Rutherford
  Physics building (3600 Rue University)\, and module 3 will be held in the
  Genome Québec and ɬÀï·¬ Innovation Center (740 Dr. Penfield Ave). The ke
 ynote speaker will be in room of M1 of the Strathcona Anatomy and Dentistr
