  award-winning filmmaker\, media artist and educator of Métis ancestry. Sh
 e uses diverse media and participatory strategies to explore issues around
  indigenous identity\, education and intercultural experience. Her talk wi
 ll include her short film Buried Traces which explores questions of Métis 
 identity\, cultural loss and renewal.\n
