 at a local Hindu Temple. Hindu Mission Montreal\, founded in 1971\, accomm
 odates diverse types of worship\, including North Indian and Tamil. It off
 ers space to worship on the weekends\, a community for celebrating religio
 us festivals\, and the services of a full-time pandit (scholar and priest)
 . In the space\, you’ll find large murthis (devotional images) of diverse 
 Hindu dieties. Come witness and learn about how Hindu communities practice

 ive at 12:45pm at the Hindu Mission\, 955 Rue de Bellechasse\, Montréal\, 
 QC H2S 1Y2. You are responsible for traveling to and from the Hindu Missio
 n. The closest metro station is Beaubien (orange line)\, and the STM Bus #
 30 North also passes nearby. Please bring your OPUS card or metro fare.\n	D
 ress code: There is no specific dress code. However\, please note that mos
 t community members will be wearing modest clothing in good condition. It 
 is recommended for women to have a scarf with which to cover the head.\n	Pe
 rsonal items: Please keep your personal items to a minimum as you will nee
 d to leave large bags in the cloakroom. We recommend a small bag or large 
 pockets for essential valuables (wallet\, phone) which you can keep on you
 r person during the worship services.\n	Gender: This community practices ge
 nder separation based on male-female identities. Both the prayer space and
  the washrooms are gender-specific. The dining hall is mixed. If you have 
 concerns about navigating the space\, please contact MORSL to discuss alte
 rnative arrangements.\n	Allergies: This community makes use of incense and 
 other scented materials in the rituals. This event may not be suitable for
  people with severe allergies to scent. Additionally\, food is prepared in
  a community kitchen where food allergies may not be easily accommodated.

 ate in the Q&A session.\n\n
