 t-mortem studies\, recent developments in tau-related biomarkers have sugg
 ested a multiphase evolution of tau-related changes that is unique to AD. 
 In this talk we will highlight work in autosomal dominant and sporadic AD 
 that opens up the mechanistic and therapeutic implications of tau biomarke
