 tention deficits are prevalent among children with epilepsy. The lecture w
 ill discuss multi-factorial causes of cognitive impairments with a focus o
 n the role of transient effects of single interictal discharges. Novel app
 roaches to rescue cognitive deficits through AI-informed closed loop stimu
 lation paradigms will be discussed with a view towards improved cognitive
