The comprehensive interview\, which can be administered in person or via teleh ealth using videoconferencing\, allows clinicians and researchers to colle ct valuable information about an individual’s behaviours and developmental history to evaluate possible symptoms of autism.\n\nThe workshop content has been updated for 2026 with the new DSM-5 ADI-R algorithms\, recent res earch on the ADI-R\, and new sample reports. \n\n\n What to expect\n\n\n Lea rn the fundamentals of ADI-R administration and scoring\n Practice ADI-R co ding through observation of two ADI-R administrations and detailed coding discussions\n Develop practical skills in using and interpreting ADI-R algo rithms and classifications\n Explore the clinical use of the ADI-R (e.g.\, report writing)\, its psychometric properties\, and associated research\n L earn how to use the updated DSM-5 (2025) algorithm and the Toddler (2012) algorithm to code the ADI-R\n Receive updated sample reports\n\n\n \n\nAbou t the facilitator\n\nMandy Steiman\, PhD\, is a clinical psychologist spec ializing in the assessment of autism and associated diagnoses. She holds a t position at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute\, which is af filiated with ɬÀï·¬.\n\nHer experience includes serving as a s enior psychologist at tertiary care diagnostic clinics and as clinical sit e leader for multi-site and longitudinal research studies\, as well as con tributing to the development and implementation of integrated clinical-res earch protocols.\n\nDr. Steiman trains students and professionals in diagn ostic assessment for research and clinical purposes and is a certified tra iner the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R).
