Experts: Quebec digital health records pilot project

Santé Québec will launch a new system of digital health records () on May 9 in the CIUSSS de la Mauricie-et-du-Centre-du-Québec and the CIUSSS du Nord-de-l'Île-de-Montréal.

Samer Faraj, Canada Research Chair in Technology, Innovation & Organizing, Director, ɬÀï·¬ Institute for Transforming Healthcare and Associate Member, Department of Social Studies of Medicine has been studying various digital health records for about 20 years. He currently co-leads the digital the digital transformation axis of the (Digital Health Network) an FRQS-funded network that mobilizes 600+ academic and health sector professionals toward digitizing health care in Quebec. He also serves as President du conseil scientifique of , a government organization involved in medical innovation and regulation.
