 pain - often invisible. With the GLOBAL WALK AGAINST PAIN\, we raise aware
 ness for this condition.\n\nJoin with family\, friends\, colleagues\, and 
 neighbors - and take a stand together to increase awareness for people liv
 ing with chronic pain.\n\nOur idea \n\nA global movement.\n\nThe GLOBAL WA
 LK AGAINST PAIN is an international initiative bringing together pain rese
 arch centers worldwide to make chronic pain more visible.\n\nAt multiple l
 ocations around the world\, local walking events take place simultaneously
 . Participants walk lap after lap along a defined route\, and each locatio
 n records the total distance covered. These results are combined into a gl
 obal total distance and displayed on walkagainstpain.org.\n\nTogether\, we
  aim to walk thousands of kilometers - whether you walk 1 km or 40 km\, ev
 ery step moves us forward. Join us on August 29\,2026  from 10am -12pm. To
  take part in the walk\, registration is mandatory. Registering also entai
