Please email communications.psychiatry [at] mcgill.ca\n\nBiography :\n\nNicolas Tritsch\, Ph.D.\, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuroscience and Physiology and a member of the Fresco Institute for P arkinson’s and Movement Disorders at the New York University Grossman Scho ol of Medicine. He obtained his undergraduate and master’s degrees in neur oscience from ɬÀï·¬\, his doctorate in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University under the mentorship of Dr. Dwight Bergles before comp leting postdoctoral training with Dr. Bernardo Sabatini at Harvard Medical School. His laboratory combines molecular\, genetic\, optical and electro physiological approaches to reveal how brain circuits that control volunta ry movements orchestrate the initiation\, execution and learning of motor actions\, and how neuromodulators like dopamine and acetylcholine modify t hese processes in health and disease.\n\n \n\n \n DTSTART:20230518T150000Z DTEND:20230518T160000Z SUMMARY:Invited Lecturer Series URL:/psychiatry/channels/event/invited-lecturer-series -348201 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
