Sarah Hanafi

Sarah Hanafi is a neuropsychiatrist who completed her psychiatry residency training at ɬÀï·¬, and an interdisciplinary fellowship in Brain Medicine at the University of Toronto. In 2025, she joined the Division of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at the ɬÀï·¬ Health Centre, where she is involved in the care of patients with complex brain disorders. Throughout her training, she has been an engaged leader both within community and professional associations, including leadership roles within the Canadian Psychiatric Association. She was recognized as an American Psychiatric Association Leadership Fellow in 2021. Her scholarly work is focused on medical education, public policy, and quality improvement.
