Our goal is to understand how such patterns\, ca lled circuits\, arise by studying the assembly of neural circuits in the m ouse retina. Here\, the specific connections among ~120 retinal interneuro ns and ~45 retinal ganglion cells create circuits that detect visual featu res such as motion direction. Today\, I will present our recent work showi ng that members of the cadherin and immunoglobulin superfamilies play a cr itical role in establishing such specific connections and creating circuit s that detect features in the visual scene.\n DTSTART:20210420T160000Z DTEND:20210420T160000Z LOCATION:CA\, QC SUMMARY:QLS Seminar Series - Arjun Krishnaswamy URL:/qls/channels/event/qls-seminar-series-arjun-krish naswamy-330062 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
