EDI Workshop | EDI Missteps: Solutions, Strategies and Successful Practices

Wednesday, May 13, 2026 17:00to19:30

In an effort to support D2R researchers in meaningfully incorporating the principles of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) into their research design and research practice, the D2R EDI Community of Practice fortrainees is organizing an event to discuss and problem solve through common EDI mistakes in the context of RNA research. In this event, four speakers will share anecdotes on major EDI pitfalls they have encountered and strategies others can use to prevent them in the future. Together, we will discuss common pitfalls in a collaborative and low-pressure environment. Attendants should expect to leave with a set of tools to recognize EDI mistakes in the world of RNA therapeutics and how to best address those concerns.
