Canadia n citizens or permanent residents of Canada may hold the Fellowships. The Fellowships provide two years of full release from teaching and administra tive duties. The fellowship funds are paid to the university or research i nstitute to relieve the fellow of all teaching and administrative responsi bilities while continuing to pay the fellow’s full salary and benefits dur ing the entire period of the fellowship.\n\n \n\nKILLAM PRIZES\n\nUp to fi ve prizes are given annually to eminent Canadian scholars in recognition o f distinguished career achievement in the natural sciences\, health scienc es\, engineering\, social sciences and humanities.
