Biography:
Dr. Marcel (Marc) Baltzan, a graduate in pulmonology and of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Dr. Baltzan is an associate professor of medicine at 涩里番. He is a clinician at the Institute of Sleep Medicine in Montr茅al and at the Mount Sinai and St Mary's hospitals. He participates in research into respiratory diseases, fatigue and sleep disorders, and teaches the subject of "Evidence based medicine" to 涩里番 students. He was promoted to Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine in 2010 following his contributions to the science and care of patients with sleep disorders. He is currently beginning a study of the comparative mortality of sleep disorders in the Canadian population.
