 llowing CIHR and NSERC funded postdoctoral fellowships at the University o
 f California Los Angeles\, he established his laboratory at the University
  of Queensland (UQ) in 2009. In 2014\, he was appointed Assistant Professo
 r at the University of California Irvine and was promoted to Associate Pro
 fessor with tenure in 2016. In 2017\, he returned to the Queensland Brain 
 Institute where he is currently Professor and Founding Director of the UQ 
 Centre for RNA Neuroscience.\n\nThis is an exclusively in person event. \n
