DESCRIPTION:As part of Science Literacy Week\, join Professor Jeanne Paquet
 te (Earth and Planetary Sciences) and Chantal Montreuil (Redpath Museum) f
 or an informal evening walk in the park. Each of the 8 stops will focus on
  Mont Royal's geology or its cultural development. Children are welcome to
  join\, however this event is geared towards adults/teens and there are a 
 total of 555 stairs to the summit.\n\nWe'll leave from the Education Build
 ing (3700 Rue McTavish) at 17:45 sharp to enjoy the last light of the day.
 \n\nThis activity will be cancelled in case of rain\, with no rescheduling
 . Participants will be notified by email the night before by 9pm. Please n
 ote there will be a total of 555 stairs to the summit: running shoes/sport
  sandals are strongly recommended. Please dress for the weather and bring 
 a water bottle.\n\nSpace is limited and registration is required by Sept.
