The Brisbane EBLT is a free new reli able and valid language test for speech pathologists to use with acute pos t-stroke populations. Resolution of the language impairment or successfull y living with aphasia is the aim at the end of the pathway. Our research s hows that low mood consistently affects this outcome. The study also showe d that graduate and postgraduate education were a negative related to succ essfully living with aphasia.\n\nInterventions that we have developed and evaluated are the Language Impairment and Functioning Therapy (LIFT) progr am\, the Action\, Success Knowledge (ASK) program\, the Communicative Fitn ess (CommFit) program\, and implementation interventions.
