As part of our ongoing efforts to improve and streamline ɬ�﷬’s digital experience, the ɬ�﷬ app will be retired on May 4, 2026.

What this means for current ɬ�﷬ app users:

As of May 4, 2026, the ɬ�﷬ mobile app will no longer be updated or available to download.
If you currently use the app, please uninstall it from your device(s) before May 4, 2026.

ɬ�﷬ services currently accessed through the app will continue to be available through ɬ�﷬’s web-based platforms.

SharePoint "Alert me" is going away

Microsoft is currently retiring SharePoint's “alert me”, which will disappear from ɬ�﷬’s SharePoint sometime between January and July 2026. ɬ�﷬ has no control over the exact moment when the feature will be removed within that timeframe.

Teams update: the Files tab is being renamed Shared

As part of Microsoft’s latest Teams update, the Files tab (in channels and chats) is being renamed Shared. This change is being gradually rolled out. Some ɬ�﷬ users will see this change before others. For a little while, you may see both Files and Shared tabs across your Teams.

What’s changing?

Previously, there was a Files tab in Teams channels and chats.

That tab is being renamed Shared, and it will bring together:

ɬ�﷬ team develops hydrogel that outlasted current treatments in a preclinical study, a step toward reducing the need for repeat procedures

ɬ�﷬ researchers have engineered a new hydrogel that shows early promise as a treatment for people with vocal cord injuries.

Voice loss is often permanent when scarring forms on the vocal cords. Current injectable treatments break down quickly, which can force patients to get repeated procedures that can further damage the delicate tissue.
