There have\, in particular\, been noted ap plications to algebraic dynamics since the nineteen nineties\, in the work of Chatzidakis-Hrushovski and Medvedev-Scanlon. I will be talking about m ore recent applications coming out of joint work mostly with Moshe Kamensk y\, but also with Jason Bell and Matthew Satriano\, which were motived by the analogy between algebraic dynamics and algebraic differential equation s\, and which can be seen as part of the birational classification problem for algebraic dynamical systems.\n\n Venue: Hybride - CRM\, Salle / Room 5340\, Pavillon André Aisenstadt\n DTSTART:20251114T203000Z DTEND:20251114T213000Z SUMMARY:Rahim Moosa (University of Waterloo) URL:/smerg/channels/event/rahim-moosa-university-water loo-368798 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
