  Race Relations Foundation. This year's symposium focuses on the theme 'Do
  Black Lives Matter in Canada? A look at Canadian Social Work Education an
 d Praxis'. \n\nWe are thrilled to announce that the first session\, entitl
 ed '(Anti) Blackness in Canada - Past and Present\,' will be held via Zoom
  on March 24th\, 2023\, at 11:30 AM. This session will feature esteemed gu
 est speakers:\n\n      Professor Akua Benjamin\,\n\n      Dr. Wendell Nii 
 Laryea Adjetey\, and\n\n      David Grant.\n\nTheir profiles and the poste
 r for the event are attached to this email. \n\nThis session aims to criti
 cally examine the historical and contemporary experiences of anti-Blacknes
 s in Canada and its impact on Black communities. The presenters will offer
  their expertise on the subject and discuss the challenges and opportuniti
 es for social work education and praxis in addressing anti-Blackness in Ca
 nada. \n\nWe believe that this session will be an excellent opportunity to
  deepen our understanding of racial justice and its implications for socia
