Education Researcher Receive John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF) Funding

Thirty-two ɬ�﷬ research projects have received new funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) for investments in research infrastructure to support their innovative projects, for a total federal investment of $9.7 million. These grants will be matched by the Quebec government, doubling their value.

Oct 13~15 2022, TIE lab participated in the SCAPPS (Canadian Society for Psychomotor Learning and Sport Psychology) 2022 Conference in Montreal, Quebec. TIE lab students, Olivia, Gabby, and Nour each presented their research and had great discussions with professors and students from different universities and labs. Sep 15~18 2022, TIE lab went to the 61st International Spinal Cord Society Annual Scientific Meeting in Vancouver, BC. TIE lab supervisor, Dr. Shane Sweet and lab member, Jacques Comeau led a discussion on peer support for individuals with spinal cord injury at the pre-conference. TIE lab students, Tayah and Nour delivered their poster presentations, as well as George and Olivia gave their oral presentations on their research projects.
