Tyres keep the world moving—but at a cost. From microscopic wear particles to end-of-life waste, the environmental footprint of tyres spans their entire lifecycle. In this eye-opening seminar, Dr. Linda Mitchell, Science, Research and Innovation Manager at Tyre Stewardship Australia, will unpack the complex challenges and emerging solutions across the global tyre value chain.

/tised/article/model-free-approaches-distributed-low-carbon-energy-system-control-and-planning

The evolution towards decarbonized energy systems is entailing deep changes at the levels of generation and demand. Furthermore, the grid structure is becoming more decentralized with many small, interconnected generation units and bi-directional power flows. On the other hand, the emergence of prosumers (through self-generation, emerging vehicle-to-grid possibilities, domestic automation, etc.) are increasing the uncertainty behind the meter for utilities.
Thu, 11 Feb 2021 18:18:58 +0000Dr. François Bouffard 16275 at /tised
