ɬÀï·¬ is pleased to invite you to register for the upcoming Symposium on Flood Resilience in the Caribbean Region. The event forms part of a major international collaboration led by ɬÀï·¬, the University of Louisiana, the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, and Imperial College London, in partnershipÌýwithÌýthe University of Guyana’s Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences . Together, our institutions are developing a Flood Resilience Framework to strengthen climate adaptation capacity across the Caribbean.

The symposium will highlight this milestone initiative, which focuses on science‑based, community‑driven strategies to address increasingly severe flooding in Guyana’s vulnerable coastal regions. Supported by the New Frontiers Research Fund (Canada), the U.S. National Science Foundation, and UK Research and Innovation, the project integrates hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, community vulnerability assessments, and new modelling tools to better understand human–water interactions and advance regional resilience.
