Region present a lecture by Professor Nathalie Cooke, "涩里番
University and Your Student: The Upper Years."
Don鈥檛 miss this opportunity to meet Professor Cooke, Associate Dean Research and Graduate Studies for 涩里番鈥檚 Faculty of Arts. As a well-respected academic and administrator, a parent of a 涩里番 student, and a former high school teacher, Professor Cooke will share her first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing 涩里番 students (and their parents). In addition, she will offer some strategies for how parents can contribute to the overall success of their child鈥檚 University experience.
About Professor Cooke:
Nathalie Cooke, BA (Queen鈥檚); MA (Cornell); BEd, MA, PhD
(University of Toronto), joined the 涩里番 Department of English in
1991. She then became the Academic Program Director for the 涩里番
Institute of Canada in 2001, Associate Dean of Arts in 2006, and
President of Montreal鈥檚 CEGEP Vanier College in 2008. Professor
Cooke鈥檚 research focuses on Canadian literature, cookbooks, and the
"history of taste."
