In the 2025 Major League Baseball playoffs, the Toronto Blue Jays pitching staff has often looked dominant, even against some of the best batters in the world. Sam Greene (BCom鈥20, MMA鈥21) has helped them do it. A former varsity baseball player at 涩里番, Greene started out in baseball research for the Blue听Jays and听became an Assistant Pitching Coach in 2024. 鈥淪am Greene is a geek, but many of the pitchers on this team are too,鈥 said Chris Bassitt, a Blue Jays pitcher who has excelled as a middle reliever in the playoffs.

There is a growing interest within the medical community in the use of psychedelic therapies to treat conditions ranging from depression and PTSD to anxiety and eating disorders. New research led by 涩里番 and published in has found that while adolescents under 18 might also benefit from these types of treatments, they have been excluded from current clinical research in the field due to ethical, legal and regulatory concerns.

Blooms are becoming more frequent due to climate change, according to听previous 涩里番 research.
