Dr. Huntington (Skip) Sheldon (1930-2018) was an iconic figure in the history of the Schulich School of Music and 涩里番 as a whole. In addition to a long teaching legacy in the Faculty of Medicine, he made significant contributions to the university听as a philanthropist.听As a result of Dr. Sheldon's generous donations, the Redpath organ was constructed and installed, and the project to build the Elizabeth Wirth Music Building was launched.听
In addition, Dr. Sheldon served on the Music Facutly's advisory board for many years.听

Currently, Dr. Lisa Lorenzino, Professor of Music Education, is听in southern Chile with seven current and former Schulich School听of Music Students as part of the Youth Orchestra of the Americas听Global Leaders Program.听After three days of seminars and听meetings, the students have moved to a variety of locations听throughout southern Chile to keep students active in free听after-school music programs designed to empower youth. They will also be active as performers in the various communities.
