The Lavigne-Smee Visiting Scholar presents to SPOT's final year Professional Program (OT and PT) students on a topic related to rehabilitation. This year, Prof. Heather Aldersey will听share her experience developing and implementing community-based, participatory action research projects related to formal and natural disability supports in the community, and her听experiences facilitating partnerships between Queen鈥檚 University (Kingston, Ontario) and the University of Gondar in Ethiopia supporting disability inclusion at the University and in Ethiopia.

At Homecoming every year, SPOT alumni, graduates, faculty & staff are invited to the School of P&OT's Homecoming Reception on the Friday of 涩里番's Homecoming weekend. In 2026, we will celebrate reunion years ending in "6" and "1"! While alumni of the anniversary years are especially welcome, all SPOT alumni are indeed invited!
