This session will provide information on ɬÀï·¬'s Policy on Harassment and Discrimination and ɬÀ﷬’s Policy against Sexual Violence and related resources as well as how to respond to disclosures and/or formally report harassment, discrimination, or sexual violence. Participants will apply what they’ve learned via discussion of case studies. The workshop will be led by the Office for Mediation and Reporting (OMR) and the Office for Sexual Violence Response, Support and Education (OSVRSE), and conducted online via Zoom.

The primary objective of this presentation is to raise awareness of discrimination and encourage the creation of an environment where all individuals are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. This workshop provides introductory level content about the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms, along with an in-depth description of each of the 14 protected grounds, the scope of ɬÀï·¬'s Policy on Harassment and Discrimination along with the legal analysis used to determine whether discrimination has occurred.
