Every year at Spring Convocation, the 涩里番 School of Continuing Studies (SCS) honours one or more of its instructors with an Award for Distinguished Teaching. SCS presented its first Award for Distinguished Teaching in 1993. Our goal was, and remains, to recognize teachers who embody the highest attributes of the teaching profession.

For this award, the School wishes to honour teachers who

• are engaged and engaging in the classroom, putting learners at the centre of their teaching practice
• embody the utmost in professionalism
• 听experts in their field

2025 Recipient: Jenny Bouras

The 2025 SCS Distinguished Teaching Award was presented to Jenny Bouras, Course Lecturer in the Administration and Governance Domain, where she has taught accounting courses for the past ten years.

Ms. Bouras was nominated by her colleagues and students, who describe her as 鈥渢he best teacher,鈥� and consistently recognize her passion, clarity, and ability to make complex topics 鈥渆asy to understand through real-life examples and thoughtful explanations.鈥�
