Researchers and trainees from the D2R community across Canada gathered in Montreal on April 23-34, 2026, for the second D2R Research Symposium. Bringing together more than almost 300 participants, the event showcased and foster discussion around the innovative research being conducted across the D2R Initiative.

Over two days, the 2026 Symposium featured a dynamic program designed to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange, including:

• Presentations from D2R Principal Investigators on funded research projects and Core Platforms
• 20 Talks and 58 poster presentations from trainees working on D2R-funded projects
• Sessions featuring insights from D2R industry partners
• Opportunities for networking and engagement with researchers from 涩里番 and partner institutions

The event provided a valuable platform for attendees to connect, learn about the latest D2R-funded research, and share insights with peers across the network.
