Jeffrey Derevensky听is听a James 涩里番 Professor with ECP, Professor with 涩里番's Department of Psychiatry, and Co-Director of the Faculty of Education's听Institute for Human Development and Well-Being (IHDW). He is one of the world's leading researchers of youth gambling. Much of Dr. Derevensky's renown stems from his work with 涩里番's听International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviours, where he has been Director since their foundation in 1994. In 2017 Dr. Derevensky was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Research Award by the U.S. National Council on Problem Gambling听(NCPG).
