Isabel Pike
Biography: 

Isabel Pike is an assistant professor in ɬ﷬'s Sociology department. Her current book project explores the contested narrative in Kenya that “the boy child has been forgotten” while another stream of research examines how gender and economic status shape the life course, particularly in the realms of relationships and work. She looks forward to serving as a faculty mentor, believing mentorship to be a valuable way of building academic community.
