On Sunday, June 15, between 10 AM-12 PM, due to scheduled system maintenance, many shared drives will be unavailable and certain systems/functions will be impacted. Please see the list of affected services below.

Wi-Fi network: Action required for devices on iOS and MacOS to renew certificate
On the evening of Wednesday, June 18, IT Services will renew the security certificate that secures authentication to 涩里番's wpa.mcgill.ca, eduroam, and cusm-muhc.mcgill.ca Wi-Fi networks.
This certificate allows you to sign on to the Wi-Fi network securely.

Microsoft 365 license deactivation warnings

IT Services recently migrated many Webex softphone users to Teams Phone.
As a result, users may have received a message from Microsoft stating their license will be deactivated soon. (See screenshot above.) It is a legitimate message from Microsoft.
Do not use Read.AI for 涩里番 purposes

We have received reports of a Read.AI bot attending or attempting to attend online meetings organized by 涩里番 faculty and staff. The bot uses generative AI to create a text summarizing a meeting鈥檚 discussions and decisions; it then shares a link to that document with all participants.

The Classroom A/V Instructions application is moving to the Browse Classrooms widget on the 涩里番 IT Support website on December 13th, 2024.听
Staff Directory decommissioned 鈥� Staff to update/review Workday information
As of January 31, 2025, 涩里番 IT Services has decommissioned the 涩里番 Staff Directory. This initiative aims to streamline processes, improve security against phishing attacks, and replace outdated technology.听听
Mural login now using Single Sign-On (SSO)
We are excited to announce that we've enabled Single Sign-On (SSO) on听Mural听for a seamless and secure login experience. Action required: Please log out of your Mural account and log back in using SSO. This will ensure uninterrupted access and a smoother process for future logins.
