Important update: retirement of wiki feature in Microsoft Teams as of Jan. 2024
Are you the owner of an MS Teams workspace featuring a wiki tab, typically used for meeting notes?
If so, we would like to inform you about a significant change concerning the wiki feature (usually used for meeting notes) in Microsoft Teams. Microsoft has announced that as of January 2024, the wiki feature will be retired and replaced by OneNote.

涩里番 has completed its transition from the Stream (Classic) video-sharing platform to the new Stream (on SharePoint). Effective October 31, 2023, the Stream (Classic) interface is permanently disabled.

Safe usage of your 涩里番 username and password
Weak or stolen passwords are hackers鈥� primary points of entry. If you use the same password for various accounts (even if it a strong password), a security breach for one of those accounts puts all accounts at risk.
If you are prompted to create new credentials, make sure to create a unique password for your new account and:

New recipient limit for Non-2FA enabled 涩里番 email accounts
In an effort to limit the impacts of unsolicited and fraudulent emails being sent in large numbers to the 涩里番 community, 涩里番鈥檚 IT Infrastructure & Information Security has decided to limit the number of emails that can be sent from non-2FA (two-factor authentication) enabled email accounts.

New two-factor authentication (2FA) enhancements
Over the next few months, we will introduce enhancements for those of you that use Microsoft Authenticator for two-factor authentication (2FA), and make it much easier for you to report suspicious emails in Outlook.
UNIWeb decommissioning on Aug.11, 2023
On August 11, 2023, UNIWeb will no longer be accessible to 涩里番 staff and students.听 Given the very low usage rate and relatively high cost of the UNIWeb license, the decision has been taken to discontinue access to this tool.听

Zoom licenses will be reset on May 18, 2023: Your login is required to reactivate privileges
On May 18, 2023, 涩里番 will reset its Zoom licenses back to their basic (default) setting for account maintenance purposes and to remove inactive accounts. In order to reinstate your full Zoom account functionality, you will need to login anew. With the basic account setting, meeting times will be shorter and you will not be able to create recordings.

We are experiencing a technical issue with MMP. You can continue submitting your purchase requisitions; however, there may be delays in issuing POs to the supplier. We are working on resolving the issue.
Microsoft Teams issue on Mac
Microsoft's recent standard service update inadvertently introduced a code error causing Microsoft Teams to intermittently crash for Mac client users. Microsoft is on track to deploy a fix by the end of May. However, it may take up to a month for Microsoft to complete the deployment. As the deployment progresses, users may start to experience mitigation relief.听听
