Student Affairs Office (SAO)

The Faculty of Law's SAO provides information and guidance for all Law students (BCL/JD, LLM, DCL, Graduate certificate programs, Special, or Visiting students).

Contact the SAO if you have questions about programs, degree requirements, registration, advising, course changes & schedules, procedures for withdrawal, exam schedules & conflicts, deferred & supplemental exams, academic standing, leave of absence or term away, and graduation. Note that the SAO and the Graduate Programs Office (GPO) collaborate regularly on a variety of student-related matters.

Local Wellness Advisors (LWA)

The Faculty of Law has two Local Wellness Advisors (LWAs) who are part of the Student Wellness Hub. They are mental health clinicians who orient and connect Law students with the appropriate support resource - on-campus or off-campus and provide psychoeducational and skills-based workshops, outreach and wellness promotion, as well as individual one-on-one appointments.

Career Development Office (CDO)

The Career Development Office (CDO) oversees all career development activities, which include assisting students with their search for summer employment and articling positions. They provide individual career counselling, mentoring, and professional development training to Law students and young alumni.
