For this B.C. beekeeper and Mac Campus alumna, gathering groceries is sweet and sustainable

In a recent article for their What's In My Cart? series, , a beekeeper based in聽Delta, B.C. She says she was hooked on bees the first time her hands entered a hive, when she was only 21 and enrolled in agricultural studies at 涩里番鈥檚 Macdonald Campus, near her hometown of Montreal.

Today, the retiree聽manages 150 colonies of bees across multiple properties, makes her own honey for her company, Bees Actually, and runs a number of projects including Bee Well, which reconnects seniors to food and land through beekeeping and gardening.
