Title: Bounded dynamics on Outer Space

Abstract: In this talk, I will introduce Outer Space and a semi-action by injective endomorphisms of free groups. I will then present how, in practice, we can compute such actions. In my thesis, I prove that acting finitely many times by an irreducible nonsurjective endomorphism is enough to map Outer Space of rank 2 into a compact subset of itself. In the talk, I will give various examples to highlight the ideas of the proof.

We will gather in the lounge for teatime after the talk.
