Building Resilience Through Mindfulness and Compassion (Online)

Tuesday, October 21, 2025 13:15to14:00

Offered by the Health and Wellness Program as part of the 15th Annual Health and Wellness Fair

In this session, we’ll explore the nature of suffering—what causes it, how we respond to it, and how we might work with it more skillfully. Drawing from both Western psychological and Buddhist perspectives, we’ll explore how practices like mindfulness and compassion can support us through life’s challenges. You’ll be introduced to practical techniques for cultivating these qualities, learn about common obstacles that arise in maintaining a consistent practice, and discover strategies for staying grounded and resilient—even when things are difficult.
