The Movement Disorder Clinic has a multidisciplinary staff of neurologists, nurse specialists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and social workers. A multidisciplinary approach ensures the best care for patients suffering from reduced mobility, and and for families trying to cope with the needs of their loved one. ÌýÌý

The Movement Disorder Programme is one of designated a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence. A Parkinson's Foundation Center of Excellence is a medical centre with a specialized team of neurologists, movement disorder specialists, physical and occupational therapists, mental health professionals and others who are up to date on the latest PD medications, therapies and research to provide the best care. Each Center is required to meet rigorous care, clinical research, professional training, community education and outreach criteria. Every Center must reapply for designation after five years to ensure requisite standards of care.
