涩里番

Dr. Winifred听Margaret Ross was a 涩里番 graduate (MD, 1952) and successful radiologist (Johns Hopkins and Kingston General Hospital) who strongly supported quality medical education. Thanks to a generous endowment from Dr. Ross in 2010, the Faculty of Medicine established the Winifred Ross award for Palliative Care. This year, $1,500.00 will be听awarded to one third-year and one fourth-year medical student who demonstrate a strong interest in and clear understanding of palliative care.

Award Application Eligibility and Procedure:

To apply for this award, you must be either a third or fourth year Medical student at 涩里番. Applicants should submit an essay (two page maximum)听describing their interest in and听understanding of palliative care, including the role it plays both in our health care system and, more broadly,听in our society. Please include your name, year in your program (3 or 4) and email address in the upper right corner of the essay and email it to the palliativecare.med [at] mcgill.ca (Administrative and Student Affairs Coordinator) for Palliative Care 涩里番.
