The ɬÀï·¬ School of Population and Global Health (SPGH) and the Department of Global and Public Health (DGPH) are pleased to invite you to the launch of the English edition of Dr. Joanne Liu's latest work, Ebola, Bombs, and Migrants.

This special event will feature a conversation with Dr. Liu, followed by a book signing and reception. Join us as we celebrate Dr. Liu's impactful journey and the insights she gained during her time as International President of Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF). Books will be available for purchase on-site, courtesy of Paragraphe Bookstore.

Dr. Joanne Liu

Dr. Joanne Liu, a Canadian pediatric emergency room physician and former International President of Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF), is a Professor at ɬÀï·¬'s School of Population and Global Health (SPGH), where she is Director of the Pandemics and Emergency Readiness Lab (PERL). A graduate of the ɬÀï·¬ Medicine class of 1991, Liu first joined MSF in 1996, working with Malian refugees in Mauritania.
