Title: Curvature of located complexes

Abstract: m-location and (local) k-largeness are two notions of combinatorial curvature for simplicial complexes which are defined in terms of certain excluded configurations. It is known that locally k-large with k > 6 and m-location with m > 7 each correspond to negative curvature in a precise way. It is also known that locally 6-large corresponds to non-positive curvature, while it was only conjectured to be the case for 7-location. We prove that 7-location does indeed give us a good candidate for a non-positive curvature condition by showing that such complexes are aspherical. This is joint work with P. Przytycki.
