涩里番 Faculty of Education鈥檚 B.A. (Education); Major in Education in Global Contexts has been selected as a 鈥渟tand out program鈥 in Maclean鈥檚 2026 Ultimate Guide to Canadian Universities.

Designed for students interested in the intersections of education, leadership, policy, and social change, the program combines interdisciplinary study with practical experience through a semester-long internship.

Tino Bordonaro as Chairperson of the Advisory Board on English Education

The Minister of Education has reappointed Tino Bordonaro, a Course Lecturer in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE), as Chairperson of the Advisory Board on English Education (ABEE) at the Minist猫re de l鈥櫭塪ucation (MEQ). The Board鈥檚 mandate is to advise the Minister on matters related to English education. Tino Bordonaro is grateful for the Minister鈥檚 continued confidence and looks forward to continuing the Board鈥檚 important work.

New CRC, Rachel Langevin, Receives President鈥檚 Prize for Outstanding Emerging Researchers

Three exceptional scholars at 涩里番 were awarded the 2026 President鈥檚 Prize for Outstanding Emerging Researchers at convocation ceremonies held on May 28, May 29 and June 1. The annual prize recognizes early-career researchers who have distinguished themselves by their exceptional contributions to research. Faculty of Education's Prof. Rachel Langevin, was among the three winners.

Announcing Education's 2026 Teaching Awards Recipients

The Faculty of Education is proud to announce the 2026 recipients of its annual Teaching Awards, to recognize excellence and commitment within Education鈥檚 academic staff:

The Award for Distinguished Teaching recipient is Dr. Emmanuel Tabi, who was presented a certificate at this morning鈥檚 Spring Convocation Ceremony. The Heather Reisman and Gerald Schwartz Award for Excellence in Teaching is being given to Dr. Emma Harden-Wolfson.

Valedictorian Ryan Dvorak Featured in 涩里番 Reporter

Meet Ryan Dvorak, Faculty of Education's valedictorian for this year's convocation. The Faculty's second valedictorian from the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, Ryan, who has earned his B.Sc. (Honours), will have a personal story to share with us and some words of wisdom the entire audience will be able to learn from.听In an interview with the 涩里番 Reporter, Ryan said听support from family, professors and peers shaped both his academic and personal growth.
